Hey guys, give 'em a break. It must be boreing as 'ell working in a shoe shop here, where 99% of the population think that 'Hi - So' fashion is to have matching flip-flops (one left and one right).

The superior customer service we get here in LOS takes a little getting used to. I usually put on a sad face and say "mai baht, look, look" and they smile and back off;o)

Ok I got a rant, the current American political campaign. For the first time I really have the time to watch this circus.

This is what see, implications the Obama is a racist, where does that come from his church. Do I really care NO

Clinton, riding on her husbands coat tails and being picked on. Do I really care NO

McClain to old and a Bush Clone. Well part of that I do care about.

This is what I haven't seen.

What are the plans on the economy.

Is anyone going to get around to starting to deal with Deficits

We going to do something to strengthen the dollar, I suppose that could be answered if the deficits were dealt with.

Iraq War, I'm sorry I hear a lot words being spoken but nothing that would substanially assure our troop withdrawle in a orderly fashion.

Social Security, what are they going to do about that

You know there are a lot of important issues, that are simply not being dealt with by any canidate that I can see. We seem to be within six months of the general elections this is the time we need to know what they are really about. Not how thire memories can be destorted with time. I don't care if they go to church or not. I don't care if they are black or purple, male or female.

Wonder is they will ever get down to business and discuss the important aspects of what the country is facing and plans to deal with them.

Are we headed for another election of taking the least of the evils? Or at least what we think is.

No wonder I avoid politics for discussions I just don't get it.

I have a rant.

I met a girl on teh perfume counter at Robinsons who had me removed from the store because she said I would not leave her alone and she hd the gall to call me pooh tao when I'm only sixty years young. I wont be going there agian.

You got what you deserve Harold.

When do people learn to respect other folks. If you did what you did in your home country you would most likely go to jail for at the least Harassment and most likely worse.

Why do folks come to Thailand and disrespect the Thais in one way or the other and then bitch when they are called on it.

I am sure I will get a disrepectful reply. Most folks that do not respect themselves can not respect others.

Danger: Low flying kids.

Why does it seem that those unruly kids that run around the Charoensri complex seem to be pre-set to seek out white skin? They run and weave and like a heat-seeking fooking missile dodge the Thais and run into us fahlang. Also Murphy's law dictates that their head is the same height as your balls so you get loafed right in the gonads or if not they stop by holding their hands out and hit you full force in the pelvis...

You miss the point... This forum has too much US politics. If you miss the US so much why not go back? I love it here... Even if I am going through a bad time with my wife, I love these people and it is what retirement should be.

I wake up and see the sunshine, go for a walk the locals all smile and say "Sawadee khrap/kaa."

I like to learn what is new in Thailand and Udon but when I click, view posts since last visit it is mostly US politics.

You are not getting it through your head that it interests you and your ilk but NOT F**individual ME?

Wow...Buffalo soldier, you have a bad temper.

One point you might want to realise is that this forum was not designed with just you in mind, it is for all of us.

Udonmap is available to everyone with all of their different views and ideas too that run the gauntlet from U.S. politics to older men lusting after 18-year old girls to various kinds of pickles, to the Premiership,to the best and worst of farang fare and farang behaviour in Udon and tons of interesting stuff on Udon Thani city and province and Thailand too. How fortunate we are that this site exists.

You are always welcome to build your own web site, and limit the posts that satisfy you alone, but this one seems to be just fine the way it is.
