Looks like the storm has blown right past Chez Niggles. Still windy (quite nice) & lighter grey cloud but everything else seems to be over in the far distance now

Brief downpour, 20 mins of very heavy rain. Filled up all the garden tanks, flooded parts of the garden, will watch to see how quickly it drains, give an indication as how high the Underground water level is.
No loss of any of the utilities.

Started at 25 for me, now 28 still partly cloudy with next to no breeze & 90% humidity

AQI still pleasantly in the green. Can ya still smell it?

Heavy thundery showers today and for the next several days mostly in the evening and overnight ..lets not forget it is rainy season .. nice comfortable 29 day 23 overnight temps.

Massive downpour over Chez Niggles.
Wispy white clouds in a relatively blue sky suddenly went very dark, tipped down for 10 mins then sky went blue again.
Mustn’t grumble, it’s probably good for the turf that was laid this morning

Big rain at 3am here on the west side and its very overcast this morning .. 50-60% chance of another splodge during the day that will keep the road dust down , nice breeze .. there are some brighter skies ovver yonder.

Well the forecasting turnips at Accu weather need a dam good rogering after completely missing the thunder storm and very heavy rain that called in the upper class West side yesterday approx 8pm to 10pm .. their radar must be dikky missing such a large dark mass slodge of rain ... marks 1 out of 10 ... USELESS bearing in mind it is rainy season and rain should be expected and watched for.

Pleasant bright morning , nice breeze forecast is for a mostly sunny day with an odd fluffy cloud .. 40% chance of rain at 8am (thunder rumble s n dark sky ovver yonder now) and 5pm only and temps ..day high 32 Night low 25.

Accuweather were accurate enough for the saintly south side. Not a drop so the new turf is having to be watered.

Pledasantly warm but the Humidity is high at 90+ % , A short workout gardening and feel like a wet squib already.

Meanwhile, apart from the incoming smell a very pleasant 33 & light breeze with only 55% humidity at Chez Niggles.

AQI is still good which is another billy bonus

I am sorry missed that, Niggly you posted a funny regarding the weather . How could I be so remiss as not to notice it .

Weather this AM, almost windless and a tad humid, pleasant though overcast with a promise of precipitation , with the majority of the wind coming from an easterly direction, which is nice as it blows whatever stench we have here in the right direction .

A lovely 27 after an hours cooling light rain at Chez Niggles but still 78% humidity.
Luckily I’ve discovered deodorant so no bad smell emitting & the breeze is southerly so no stench like fermenting crab legs coming over from the east.

AQI is still good & forecast to remain the same which is good news for the wheezy kids

28, no breeze & it’s just started raining. Lovely cooling rain, nice . Shame I’ve just noticed the car has been taken for cleaning but I can live with it
