Another Alcohol free day?
Well, as usual, TIT!
All bars in D/N closed. Half open in NP.
Just got a call from some bar owners that Udon's finest decided to show up and talk about closing -- just now! The left hand never knows what the right hand is doing around here.
Looks like we were both right, John. They were open and closed part of the day and night! TIT!

It was stated on here that the bars were either asked or told to close but some just refused to accept this

And some bars were never contacted and asked to do anything while others contacted police and were told they could stay open, but some -- usually the same one in almost every instance on this forum -- have comprehension deficiencies, read what they want to read, and imagine what they want to imagine.merchant seaman wrote:It was stated on here that the bars were either asked or told to close but some just refused to accept this

Every time the sale of alcohol is banned for election, buddha day, cremation, or whatever it seems the same people are always complaining. After being here in Thailand for any length of time people should be use to it and stop complaining, it won't change. If you can not go one day without a drink or visiting a bar you have a more serious problem to worry about.

(You know, this little pi55ing contest that you feel compelled to insert yourself into all the time with my posts usually ends up with things running down your leg due to a very weak stream. You really need to start reading things a bit more thoroughly and maybe more than once or twice before you start talking about things that aren't there.)

What happens if you get scared half to death twice?

I must have missed it, but where on this thread is the complaining occurring? Seems to me that a question was asked and the answers given were vague, because some bars were informed of a closure and some weren't.merchant seaman wrote:Every time the sale of alcohol is banned for election, buddha day, cremation, or whatever it seems the same people are always complaining.
