I don't know about the rest of you but there would be no way I'd buy anything from an E-Bayer with a chequered feedback history. It's the same as buying or renting property from a Wm Brown Reject and his tattooed manager - the more I look at them, the more I'm convinced I wouldn't let them anywhere near my hard earned cash. I'm still convinced there are ex-pats out there who have been ripped off by these two Halfwits but are too embarrassed to tell.

Interesting how we've heard from SS and his wee men but nothing from Gazmeddez. We're not even sure he's left the country - he's not dead is he?

Halfwits
chequered feedback history
ripped off
tattooed
Reject
hard earned cash
brain tumour
keys
Ladyboy action
top bloke
Dating sites
I must say this is all very disturbing for me, what a sour taste it leaves in ones mouth.....i need to re-assess this whole episode and try to reason with the niggling voice in my head. :|
Tomorrows another day, hope some positives come soon.

Nah,forget about the missing keys now, probably after all this time they have become so rusty that they would not open the front door ever again.
Gaz, just not feeling very well after consuming the dodgy fish in his photo. 8)

They are my friends i dont deny that, but like everybody else i was in the dark about the the things they have been accused of until all the postings started appearing on the forum. The photograph is of some mates having a drink not the meeting of the local Mafia, and who took the photo i have no idea, perhaps cableman was hiding behind some bushes and we were under surveilance.

You lied when you said you had a drink with Slade in Nana. That implicates you.

Peter, why is it so hard for you to ask your mate Gaz to get back into contact about this thread and solve the problems here(since mates will have each others mobile phone numbers),Steve has surfaced,or can you ask Nathan to do it and is the Danish guy your mate as well?
And your mate Skyhawk, can he shed any light?

Never ending saga here...............................................

You need to stop digging that hole, numbers man - you won't be able to climb out and walk away if you dig any deeper.

23696335 - is that an Army service number?

For what it is worth, it seems we are constantly talking about either Gareth or his supposed friend Steve, now it would appear both have gone, to where, we don't really care, those who have lost deposits, I feel sorry for them. Thjose who are owewd meny, I feel sorry for them too. But in all honesty, it is a done deal, why oph why do we still exchange insults, talk about either of them or anything else for that matter, nowt will change, good or bad, Gareth and his friend have gone. END.

I don't know either of these guys, but I like the idea ,very much about the falang community hopping all over any ''falangs'' that allegedly perform greivious acts against the community.

I hope,if they are guilty, that they are hounded and pursued to the very end with justice prevailing. Why this would bother anyone else,if not involved,is beyond my unserstanding.

It seems that the accused had no qualms about using this forum as a tool to line up their potential victims,so they still have access to defend themselves if possible!

Hunt them down, expose them and help bury them if possible is my credo!I hate scammers from 1 baht to whatever!

This will be the only time I will post on this thread. It has been brought to my attention that certain members of the forum who it must be said seem to have very little actual knowledge of the ‘facts’ are, for whatever reason spreading rumours about some missing money. Here, straight from the horse’s mouth, are the facts.

The missing keys... Were left with a former employee of mine to be returned to the owner’s family. I apologise if that hasn’t been done and will try to make arrangements that this situation is rectified as soon as possible.
The missing money... the figures being bandied about is pure fiction. Money was handed over for the purchase of land (paid to the land owner) and for the design, plans and consents for the construction of a bungalow on said land. As the buyer was foreign and unable to register the land in his own name it was agreed that the ownership would remain in the Thai owners name until the time came that the foreigner owner decided who to nominate as the owner. At the time he had 2 or 3 girlfriends who were in the running for this but a decision could not be made. Any money paid was used for the above items plus the start of construction which is there for everyone to see. The foreigner was introduced to the builder prior to my departure to ensure the project was finished as planned. Anything that has happened since, I am not involved in and unaware of outcome.

Now here are my reasons for leaving...
Having been involved in the formation or Udon Property and Land and worked to build the business. The owners gave me the opportunity to buy the company. At the time I didn’t have the funds to buy the company outright. An agreement was reached for me to purchase 49% of the business with the remaining shares of 51% paid for within 18 months. These contracts were drawn up and signed by all parties. Business was such that running costs and very modest salaries could be paid for the first year. Meaning I was unable to make any headway into the outstanding purchase amount. This was discussed with the 51% Thai shareholder and it was agreed that as business built I could make nominal payments over the next 6 months with the situation to be reviewed at the end of the originally agreed term. Shortly after business picked up and income increased. The Thai owner in typical fashion noticed our modest new found success and demanded I paid the full amount owing immediately or face legal proceedings. Obviously shocked I contacted the lawyers we used for the agreement who rather bluntly told me that the agreement we had made wasn’t worth the paper it was typed up on and she could gain control of the business whenever she wished if full payment and ownership wasn’t transferred. I didn’t have the money to make the payments so had to make a quick decision. Whilst wrestling with this decision another Thai female came out of the woodwork that used to work with me at the start who also endured with me a few months with little financial gain. Also having noticed that business had picked up, felt entitled to some of the rewards a full 4 months after terminating our working agreement, with threats of pressure from the Udon and Bangkok police if I didn’t give her a sizeable sum of cash immediately. This you can consider to be the straw that broke the camel’s back. I would like to make it clear that neither people mentioned are Nuch who worked with me for the past few months before I left. Nuch was nothing short of excellent with both me and our clients.

I then contacted the lawyers and relinquished my involvement in the company, told a few friends of my plans and booked a flight out of Thailand, I have spent the past few weeks with only a little contact with the outside world trying to pick up the pieces of a life that was just starting to go well and so quickly ripped away from me.
I tried in the short space of time to tie up the loose ends but it appears I fell short in a couple of instances. I apologise to those who I have let down. But I want to make it very clear that I am not a thief. I understand that my quick departure could be viewed with suspicion but I hope that my above explanation goes some way to explaining. I am disappointed that certain areas of my personal life have been unearthed and posted but hey ho I’m pleased some of you got some sort of entertainment from that. I would also like to make it clear that my involvement with Mr S ends at friendship. Any accusations being made towards him are nothing to do with me.

Lee (udonmap), money was left to pay our outstanding advertising bill. It would seem that has not been done either. Can you email me some details so that payment can be made?

I have no wish to continue this discussion and only hope that this will go some way to drawing a line under this situation. I apologise to those who will miss the drama of this thread.

Hi Gareth, good to hear from you finally and read your side of the story. That clears up a few issues and I'm pleased to hear the keys will finally be returned to the rightful owner. :D

Just one more thing before you disappear. Can you let me know if you are answering your emails now, the messages I sent to you before were not returned.

Cheers.

So, let me get this straight. You advised a FOREIGNER to leave his deposit (£47,000 est.) with your Thai partner while the FOREIGNER decided who to nominate as land owner. Do you think that was worthwhile advice or were you and your partner anxious to get your hands on a substantial amount of money?

Let me guess, the General Manager, Mr. S, and his Thai partner proposed that you buy the company. What do you think their motives were now that you're on the exit side of a bad deal? Or do you think that Mr. S slowly realised who he was dealing with and passed the risk onto you? Speaking of exits, did you have an exit strategy?

So your friends let it be known that you were in a UK hospital having treatment for a brain tumour or were you in the PI? You poor boy, I really feel for you having to pick up the pieces of your life after doing a runner, I'm available for counselling if it's all getting on top of you.

In summary, you've attempted to portray yourself as a victim when in fact, you were engaged in questionable deals with your Thai partner and Mr. S. Your above reply is littered with distortions of the truth in an effort to clear your name so I'm not convinced by anything you've written.
