Just to be clear:
It's a mount which holds both LNB's onto the one dish see here:-

Any volunteers? :D
Agree Jack.
As a novice, if I move our dish and find it doesn't work, then I'll probably be in a real pickle.
Trying to get back to I19 could be a big test.
For the time being at least I have BBC from Intelsat 19 and what looks like a "riviting" Christian Channel...555

Maybe I spoke too soon about True and Australia Plus TV.
Yesterday I watched the channel nearly all day as it was showing continuos coverage of the Martin Place siege.
My wife said it was still operating around 7:00 this morning.
I just turned on at 6:00 this evening and it's gone.
It used to be Channel 170, but knowing how True keep moving channels I hunted around - IT's GONE!
Now, I just might have to learn how to move the dish!

I hope so Wazza.
I recieved an sms today saying their internet service will be down from 10:00 until 16:00 tomorrow Wednesday for "upgrading".
But, it seems strange the other channels all seem okay.

I have been told by a reliable source that True may be showing Australia Plus (and a couple of other English language channels) via their satellite - instead of just cable - service soon.

Check your program guides. :D

Yep True Visions relocated some of their channels AGAIN -- words fail me, when will these useless pricks employ a half arsed program manager and get their channel locations sorted once and for all. --- rant over.

Anyway an offshoot of this was a new location guide which shows allocations for:-
789 Aljazeera
790 Deutsche Welle
AND
792 Australia Plus

Great news (pun intented) if/when implemented =D>

How right you are Bandung Dero.
Just punched in 792 to the remote and there it was.
Unfortunately I missed Playschool as well as B1 and B2 this morning, but should be right tomorrow as long as they don't mess around with the numbers again!
Thanks for being a life saver - I owe you one !

I'm on the Gold package and my available channels stop at 788. Hope the pricks haven't confined these FTA channels to Platinum.

We use the IPTV service which is now included in our True hi-speed internet package.
It was there when I checked an hour or so ago.
But as they are "upgrading" the service as I write, it keeps cutting out every couple of minutes.
So, who knows !

Seems to me that Australia Plus has disappeared from Homecable again as of this morning. Channel 8 is now carrying CCTV...

We live in Ban Hansa Udon Thani and had installed Home Cable as well as True. My wife has been in contact with Home and of course they have no control but did ask my wife to ask me why the Australian Govt had done this $#$#$#$#%$%$!$%%&%&&# did not think he would understand my opinion that the decision was made by short sighted bastard politicians. Then my wife inquired with True to be told that as there was no cable near our area we could not source Australia Plus. We have a dish of course. I had paid a year in advance with Home so will leave it connected until that expires. As an Aussie even though I love living in Thailand at this later stage in my life it totally frustrates me how our Govt can ignore the millions of our Aussies who live overseas and still keep up with the Aussie news and sports. I am an avid AFL FAN and unless I get this resolved I am stuffed when the season comes around. Any tips from my fellow equally frustrated Aussies would be greatly appreciated. Terry Aston

Not frustrated (yet), but if you have a good internet connection, and sufficient cash, you could always subscribe to AFL streaming:

No one seems to know what is going on at Home Cable, have rang on two occasions, but its hard to understand if my wife cannot really fully relay the message in English. It apparent to me that if True Vision have it then they should be able to do also. A few years ago I could get the Australian Channel through INFOSAT, had mostly Japanese, Korean programmes, NO THAI, I still have the decoder box, so if al else fails I will re connect.

I know it's probably easier said than done, but has anyone tried to explain to Home Cable, that Australia Plus has moved from satellite SN-19 to SN -18? The Australia Plus website has all the new coordinates details.
We had the guy who installed our dish when it was on SN-19 come out, after my poor attempts using an app I downloaded, failed to find the new signal. He fiddled around and after talking to a techhie friend, said our LNB needed something else for SN-18. When he returns (hopefully before the footy starts) I will report the results.
Maybe Home Cable need to do likewise...
