I'm sat in the Dovedale Hotel right now eating fish (haddock) & chips and yep there real grand. Had to come to Cleethorpes on business and what a nice place it is, not many grumpy farangs here!
Got to agree with you Mash, the Nunsthorpe estate leaves a lot to be desired...twinned with Beirut. And that is were the maternity home is situated so for the past 15 years or so, virtually everybody in the area has the proud claim to being born on the Nunny...even I'd rather make the 30 min trip to Scunny maternity than have that on my birth certificate.pienmash wrote:Ayup Doks .
Who wrote that for you ..... its all spelt reet.
Indeed the best fish n chips are located at Steeles fish n chip emporium in Cleggy ,,,,,,, best by a mile .I personally have nowt against Cleggy or the folks that reside there , however Grimsby is another thing id rather live in OBLS old gaff then on the Nunsthorpe estate even Doks must agree its a god foresaken ----- of a place.
