Returning to Udon as an Adult

I'm planning a trip back to USA next month. I'll fly into JFK and then head to Penn Station for a 2 hour trip to Aberdeen. I have never been on Amtrak, so I hope the trip will be a safe one. On my return use Amtrak to Penn Station and then fly out of JFK to Udon Thani. It will a 20 hour flight to JFk and 22 hour return flight. Will only gone for 2 weeks.
