Weather in Udon ?

Yes, we had a power cut early this morning. However the city water came on last night, enough to fill our tanks which were almost empty.

Seriously looks like Udon has / is dodging a bullit again as the South of Isaan provinces are getting a proper drenching and has been non stop for the last few days ... the difference in the weather both in temps and rainfall between Udon and Buriram , Surin , Ubon Sisaket etc is crazy , i drove back set off in persistant torrential rain and it got brighter n warmer the more North i traveled..quite pleasant in Udon , still tipping down in Buriram.

This rainy season certainly has been a bonza .. th should slip into cool n dry next month .

I reckon (hope) next weeks rain could well be the last decent splodge this season .. then my fav cool dry season starts in November... cool n no rain over night perfek rubber cutting weather ... tho the season ends in mid January with Nov n Dec the best two months ..thoust cups doth overflow.

Yep gently warming up the homestead, airing it out and drying all those clothes that were not fully dry from washing . A very pleasant temperature , a drying breeze I call it , needed to dry out the garden as well.
Forecast is SOME rain next Sunday, so a period of dryness wonderful .

I came upcountry from Jomtien via 304 yesterday. One lane of the highway in the Pak Thong area was closed due to flooding. Lots of water for sure.

Passed trhu a few flooded areas last day or so .. korst , pak chong worst was chok chai .. lots of low soon cars roadside bonnets up n a new meaning tonthe word footWELL.as watercwas over the door sills by a goid few inches . Twood appear all tbis is run offfrom.the mountains as no real.heavy rain just steady nirmal.stuff.

Blooming glorious in bannork buriram .. blue cloudless sky comfotable temps and a nice strong breeze ...dare i say like the start of the coolmdry kite ying season ????

Got the village spice girls in to tidy up.the garden ..i love the smell.of freshly cut grass .

^ Very pleasant indeed DM. After my lie-in, I went for a bike ride mid-morning, then some yard work and didn't break a sweat. Road traffic looked very light: no rush hour and a late run to Big C flyover was also crowd free. Only fly in the ointment was some twunt burning rubbish nearby and stinking up the place.

Looks like that TD heading for Vietnam won't cause any more Isaan wetness than normal either.

Its a cracking morning in.bannork buriram .. last nights low 18 .. tho.forecast abit warmer today n tonight with showers overnight n tomoz .. DM getting his painting jobs done today as garden is now looking blooming loverly.

The air is so much clearer ..less muggy n dare i say fresh ..just had a coffee n rinsing mi spurtle before the paintbrush batlle commences.

As forecast, TS Saudel will be a bit of a damp squib. In the attached, it's the smally one just crossing Vietnam coast and causing tomorrows light to moderate rain.

Coming down the pipe though is TS Molave, still just east of the Philippines but likely to pack a lot more punch (twice as big as Saudel) and heading straight for Boolilum in time for next Friday.
