26 & not a breeze at Chez Niggles.
I thought the localised burning had finished as not seen or smelt any for the last week but last night there was a thick smog on the horizon by a late entrant to the pollution table

The AQI this morning is as expected

All I do to ascertain the Pollution ( aka Air Quality ) is to look at my Water Lily pots, the surface leaves sometimes have a fine covering which means that the AIR is not clean, so a flash over with the hose and all is bright and green again. Generally my side of town is is certainly cleaner and normally a breeze each and every day, wafting the pollutants over to the other side via the Town Centre.

The patio was covered in a film of soot today & the pool took an age to vacuum out as nothing was settling on the bottom
I noticed today while out & about lots of hedgerows & verges had also been burnt so I guess the landowners have been taking the easy way out in getting rid of weeds & had their misdoings disguised by nearby sugarcane burning

miserable and nasty brown tinted air with an AQI hovering over 200. The wife says she heard something where the government said that "after the 28th, no more burning!!" Yes, I'm sure the anti-fire patrols will be out in their hundreds if not thousands running down any villagers burning leaves or trash while staying away from the thousand rai burning cane plantations! A bit chewy in the air again tonight & by jove it’s warm. We’ve got the ACs on in the living room for the first time in months

Dropped to a pleasant 22 last night. We eventually turned off the AC as it got too cold
Warmed up quickly this morning though, 31 at 9am
