The Ban Chiang Hotel has a gym, I've not used it but there is a picture on the "Services & Facilities" page of their website: http://www.banchianghotel.com/

nautilas workout machines
get yourself to the gym in chorensi grand hotel next to complex 3000 baht for a 3 month membership that includes access to pool and a very large sauna jacuzi steam room only down side for me is a low gym ceiling
they also have some free weights and a couple of new treadmills

The best gym equipment by far is at the Ban Chiang Hotel, I think membership is about 1,000 per month or 200 baht per visit which includes the sauna, jacuzi, gym and swimming pool. All other hotels have average quality gym equipment although the Charoensri Grand's sauna and jacuzi are very nice but the pool is a little small for decent lap swimming.
There is also a gym in the hotel that is attatched to the Rock Ice building, it's on the top floor. I haven't been so I can't recommend but if I get the chance to look I'll report my findings here.

Lee, when Jack and I stayed at the hotel in early June, the only 'gym' I came across was one of those Universal-style machines at the top of the stairs to the third floor when you leave reception. It was just sitting right there, with mirrors all around. Anyone could use it--even birds, apparently, for some seemed to have come in through the open windows on occasion to roost and defecate on the darn thing.
