I believe it was an instinctive jump as Aussie Harry had made a lunge for the soft, dangly collection of objects between his back legs 8-[

Stool .. indeed Bisto does have a fine set of dangleys any hot blooded human would die for ,, along with his stunning good looks , warm friendly personality , kindness and intelligence .........all of which he gets from his master he is waiting for the right Thai girl doggy to come along to pop his cherry ,, he got rid of his only previous girlfriend recently after she demanded a gold collar , dog kennel being built for her mom n dad who also wanted a 500 bone dowry !!!!...

Back to the Sports bar today for the grand final of Aussie rules ,,, freeo v Hawthorn ,,, arrived 11am for a seat and had to request the fat bloke reading the paper to politely move as he wasnt interested ,,, packed bar all afternoon , brilliant banter two n fro from the Aussie on both sides and the Brits like me .. fookin brilliant crack the like Udon needs more of in REAL pub atmosphere ..

Massive kudos for Steve n Nung for putting on the food via Peter and in general just a very enjoyable day , 11am til 9pm counts as a reet good shift for mash ,, and managed to navigate the Lada home in one piece ,,, Bisto was as jealous as fook and still refuses to lick my balls as i didnt take him along .

Steve and Neung's Sports Bar's influence is pan-Provincial. I, from Ubon, recently hooked up with them and their solid crew for a Jolly Boy's (and Girls) Outing in a neighouring province.
As Mashtaffa has posted this is a real Boozer, BUT one hopes that the famous BISTO is not treating his master's gonads too much like a Newton's Cradle.
Good night from Warin.

Come on lads, lets keep some sense of sanity on the forum , it's obvious that Jon has far too much free time on his hands these days. Lets not go back to how it was last time , with every topic turned into a farce , and Jon, your obviously not stupid, having run a very successful business, so why this nonsense? :-"

What lesson would that be then John ? being as you seem to be the ajarn yai nowadays . So should this of been on the joke thread or not suitable on any thread ... just to clarify.

So a bit of light hearted daftness reference Bisto ringing the bell is frowned upon as nonsense ,,, its a joke he didnt really do it ,, in turn a slap on the back n a well done to Steve and Nung for running a good joint making an effort to offer an alternative sports bar theme where smiling and even laffing is encouraged ...

Val you should know im always busy ,, not enuff hours in the day .

Jon , I am simply trying to make two points. I think you know me well enough, apparently better than some, to know I am not directly attacking you. In fact I admire all you have achieved against a lot of odds in bringing a successful business to Udon and in the process improved the culinary experience of a lot of us Farang .Firstly I will say this is a forum. a place for discussion and debate, of course it would be rather boring if we couldn't have a laugh, even at ourselves , sometimes .However when I click on a subject heading expecting to see some news or discussion about Udon , or any other , for that matter, I don't expect to be reading a fantasy tale about dogs . Obviously there are some that see the funny side of it, but I suggest that it's place is under the jokes topic, that's all .The second point I will make is, you aren't doing yourself any favours by presenting this image of being a crackpot, when it's obvious you aren't . But this latter is nothing to do with me as some pointed out, just a bit of fatherly advice .Don't know why I bother, my own kid didn't, don't suppose you will . Miss you and Dao in the shop though .Val

Thanks and point taken ...... DAD !!....

As you do most who know me are aware im not a crackpot or a dummy but do try to inject a bit of humour into whatever i participate in whether a forum of day to day things ,,,, theres a fine line between insanity and genius and you need to drop some where in between to succeed in business especially here in Thailand along with a good woman and hard working ethics ,,, as i feel Steve n Nung have tho get little credit for their endeavours.

As for Bisto ringing the bell ,,, he told me he would never speak to me again if i didnt let him do it !!!

BTW ,, i do actually miss the shop a little bit and some of the customers ,,, still see them around town and Dao passes on messages as shes still working in the shop .

With all the gloom and doom here on this repetitive forum a bit of laughter does not go astray, that is for the people who enjoy a good laugh. Well done Mash. How boring some of the topics are, and they go on and on Another thing is that people really would have believed that indeed Bisto Really rang the bell. This one is for you? Outside the entrance to the Western Plains Free Range Zoo in Dubbo, New South Wales there is a sign that says, Adults $15 Children $5, Keep Windows UP AT AL TIMES. Poms on Bicicles admitted FREE

I have it on good authority that Steve and Neung, as accommodating as ever, have lowered the bell rope to facilitate BISTO's future shenanigans. Aussie Harry's presence in the bar will, of course, provide an extra fillip.
They have also installed a golf course ball washer for MASH's personal use. True story.
This is a beautiful thread!!

Hey Mash .. I would like to ring the bell at the aforementioned bar by proxy.
Could you arrange with Steve that at 4PM Saturday 5th October the bell is rung and I will pick up the tab at a later date .. Steve knows I'm good for my word. I presume Aussie Harry is back at work which should negate the ridiculous cocktails he normally orders on someone else's "ring".
Very, very much appreciated,
Chris Ubon
