oops

did somebody forget a whole continent

on another item, on topic, someone mentioned the other day about websites in profiles, that got me there, then i noticed you could sort thru memberlist with different search criteria. active, more than 100 posts, a mere 50 or so, which kind of jives with smoking poll. what caught my attention, beside i have too much time and too many internet minutes to use, there are a hell of a lot of american members, don't say a lot, hmmm, not sure if that means anything. but almost 3500 members and 800 or so are americans, yikes, i thought we were the minority of tourist and visitors to thailand. last stats i read was somthing shy of 8%, which is actually double from 5 years ago. didn't really search any more than that.

I'm afraid so.

Anyway, what makes you so proud - being part of the British Empire?

I'm surprised there aren't more yankee doodles in Udon - or at least more reading this forum.

As both a Vet and an Expat, that puts me into the mongrel category although my passport is blue. Very mixed family nationalities, Norwegian, Swedish, Chinese and Nigerian. You ever have lutefisk with rice? =P~

A recent poll here showed that 54% of English people preferred to be called English to British.

Of course 100% of Scots and Welsh people preferred their own nationality instead of British.

The first statistic is correct. I made up the second one, but there is an element of truth in it.
