Accomodations in Sukhothai
Accomodations in Sukhothai
Wife and I are planning a trip to Sukhothai. Any suggestions on hotels/resorts ?
Accomodations in Sukhothai
There are actually two areas for Sukhothai.....old Sukhothai where the World Heritage site/park is and new Sukhothai where there are more hotel and eating options. The two are about 12km apart,so an easy drive and there are regular buses between the two.
Hotels/resorts near the park (Old Sukhothai)
Naracha Resort.....small resort with just 7 bungalows but has a restaurant with excellent food....900 baht a night.....about half a mile from the park.
Le Charme......hotel with pool and restaurant, also within walking distance of the park.....1600 baht per night.
New Sukhothai
Ruen Thai....old fashioned style hotel with pool and restaurant....about 1200 baht per night.
All of those three are OK.....there are also more expensive hotels like Tharaburi Resort (3,000 baht and a few minutes drive from the Old Park) and The Legendha ( approx 2,100 baht, has a pool and within walking distance of the park).
Both these hotels get decent reviews on Trip Advisor, for instance.

Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.
