It's a good site probably worth keeping an eye on. There's a good report on Neftali Perez, the young American, who recently fell to his death in Udon.

Does Udon Thani province, for example have a suicide prevention number. Not needing one, mind you ,at the moment anyway. But where do folks turn to ,at that last moment before they take their own life?
Suicide is not waking up one day and deciding to take your own life, but trying to find a reason, everyday, not to.

I'd suggest a plane home as a substitute for a suicide number if things are getting that bad.

Itr would be better if they actually added the resulting cause of death, as some seem to be natural causes.

More deaths are continually being reported. Two teachers, one Japanese and one American, have reportedly hung themselves in the last fortnight. The Japanese in Bangkok and the American in Krabi.

it would appear that many are due to depression related illnesses, something that many people find hard to talk about hence the private nature of the illness and the subsequent suicide
