Weather

Post by Dakoda » November 10, 2005, 8:16 pm

Ok, people keep telling me about this cold weather. So when :?: Its Nov 11 at 8PM and the current temp is 30c, high today was 34, low is going to be 24, humidity 64% by airport :!: Right 24c and I am still running AC at night!

Now I spent three years here during the 60's, and yes I did consume a lot of anti-freeze, but I would think I would remember if it got cold, but the only thing I remember is fighting bugs in the jungle, and running around just about naked on my off time.

So when :?: :?:

We should see it starting to cool down a little any time now, usually at the beginning of December.

It feels like the hot season at the moment and not a drop of rain for weeks! I can't wait for the cool season, it's my favourite time of year.

I do remember freezing my buns in TX, this time of year!

I should also say, the temps above are outside at the airport, inside it is hotter without AC!

The only way your going to freeze your buns here is wth a walkin freezer, antime of year. It has been cooling off better at night but we are not there yet

"How Cold Was It ?", Ed MacMahon asked Johnny Cars

Dakoda, your low temp was just about same as ours here in South Florida. Better start looking for those longjohns.

Here he goes again with those OLD stories.....I remember reading in the Bangkok Post back about 1967 that a taxi driver in Bangkok died of exposure to the elements during a cold spell in January. How cold was it? The temp dropped below 50F (10C). True story. Wish I would have kept that news clipping. :D

Lowest temperature here was 10C.If you want cooler you can pop up to Loei where it has got to zero on top of the big hill in the National Park.
