converting slides to photos
converting slides to photos
Has anyone had this done recently? I have a few hundred slides from 40 years ago........I'd like to have about 30 made into prints. I'm guessing one of the larger photo shops might do it....but thought I'd ask before I go on a hunt.

Do you still have your old slide projector? I do and so recently copied all of my old slides (a few hundred of them) by projecting them onto a screen (any smooth, white surface will do) and taking pictures of each using my digital camera mounted on a tripod. Although it does take time I was rather satisfied with the results.

Old grumpy got it right. I upgraded to a Canon 9000F Mk II scanner which was much faster. I brought back nearly 4,000 slides and scanned them to the computer then an external hard drive to store. You can print off your computer, assuming you have a printer. Call if you have any questions. I had my phone cleaned recently and lost your number. Ron B
