Re: A Third Wanted for Breakfast
I wouldn't mind betting the main topic of conversation will be American Politics.
Re: A Third Wanted for Breakfast
Steady on lads. It's not as if Donald Trump is at the breakfast. It's not fair nor polite to bash people just because they're American. The two gents seem interesting characters and the Americans I met while living in Udon long ago were all good conversationalists. We're getting a bit too feral.

Imagine having breakfast with a couple of the antagonists above.

I somehow imagine the OP and apparent author as being a very adept conversationalist.
Shameful showing of the lack of imagination, wit and manners by a few of the least helpful UM xenophobe plonkers. There is a rather large difference between polite banter and just being a d!ck.

Re: A Third Wanted for Breakfast
I got invited for breakfast by this chap few years ago.
After, not contacted me ever again! (I think because I was a poor farang )
Is yogurt and cornflakes classed as a breakfast?

Sorry Paul youre out of line there .... "being invited for breakfast" ALWAYS meant the same thing in my youth (many years ago) you have pulled, youre gonna get your leg over, its another way of offering sex. In all my 67 years I've never ever had breakfast at someones house without having stayed there the night before

I'd rather share breakfast, lunch, and dinner with Alex, than having to suffer an instant coffee with KP.

Fine , but why not a fourth and a fifth or just a general get together like UFES.Potamoi wrote: ↑May 2, 2022, 9:16 amhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/Conversational ... 256&sr=8-1

Instant be damned, Either English Tea freshly brewed or Fresh ground coffee made in a Percolater , French press or other coffee machine. Instant in the morning , the very thought of it , makes my stomach turn.jackspratt wrote: ↑May 2, 2022, 8:10 pmI'd rather share breakfast, lunch, and dinner with Alex, than having to suffer an instant coffee with KP.
Re: A Third Wanted for Breakfast
I think the OP is talking about having breakfast at his house. Nobody in their right mind would want any of the UFES clique anywhere near their corn flakes and yogurt. Just ask Dean.AlexO wrote: ↑May 3, 2022, 2:26 amFine , but why not a fourth and a fifth or just a general get together like UFES.Potamoi wrote: ↑May 2, 2022, 9:16 amhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/Conversational ... 256&sr=8-1

Like most social gatherings here, it really depends on the Chang uplift. You know what it's like when kids get a sniff of the cork. The typical session winds down late afternoon but it can get a bit iffy when there's still a few holdouts after sunset. The good thing about it though is there's bugger all to remember.

The op stated he was American . However , there
is a Brit novelist of some repute who goes by that
name . Other than that , we really just don't know
