dog care
dog care
I moved back to Kut Chap area last week after one year in a townhouse in Ban Jun, and have acquired a puppy around 8 weeks old.
For Thailand, what is the best time for protection with injections etc and anybody with a recommendation for a local vet.

Re: dog care
8-10 weeks for the first inoculation. Vet will advise when for the second.
Re: dog care
Great Vet is located on teh Ring Road south of the PTT station
They even do house calls as we have had them come to give injections to our animals

Tanks all,
Thanks doodoo for the only recommendation, but around 40K from me, a tad too far from Kut Chap.

Re: dog care
Mr Whistles, apparently Kut Chap has a vet but we use the Vet near to the Hansa estate just opposite the Mini Lotus shop.
They did a good job on one of our old dogs that got mangled by a Rice Harvester, lost a leg but otherwise made a full recovery, very reasonable on price.
We use them for meds for Ticks and Worms, and any required vaccinations for currently our 7 dogs, Life is relatively short for a free roaming Farm dog, but they do enjoy themselves.

He's got his little y-fronts and he's got his little vest, Chaz Jankel, 1998. Mash it up Harry.

Ta for this, close enough. This is going to be a spoilt dog, not farm, dogBillaRickaDickay wrote: ↑April 14, 2023, 1:18 pmMr Whistles, apparently Kut Chap has a vet but we use the Vet near to the Hansa estate just opposite the Mini Lotus shop.

Re: dog care
If you do use them, you're probably up to speed but if not as with most purchases/services over here that don't have a price label, get the missus to take the dog in, I always keep a low profile in these circumstances to avoid the Farang pricing factor.Whistler wrote: ↑April 14, 2023, 2:18 pmTa for this, close enough.
