Iron deficienies

Post by trekkertony » November 17, 2024, 5:50 pm

Hi all,
My Thai DIL lives in Australia and has an ongoing problem of maintaining her iron levels. Is this a common situation experienced with other Thai ladies who are in a relationship with a faring. I did say iron levels not ironing levels
TIA

Anemia is quite prevalent in Thai females.

Common in Thai girls from up country as they do not tend to regularly eat a diet which is high in iron content and only frequently eat Beef (red meat) and rarely eat spinach, broccoli and the like. Although some do eat liver which has a high iron content.

Still if she is in Oz, suggest to her to slightly change the diet.
That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.
