Have been using DTAC for over 15 years for phone contact with my bank, since Oct this year haven't been able to get phone wire transfers done.
Bank info'd me that my Caller ID / Phone # now doesn't match their records.
Anyone else having problems with US calls where their Caller ID / Phone # is being rec'd with the wrong info/#??

Re: ON-LINE BANKING USING DTAC
Not sure I understand the circumstances correctly.
You mention US calls. Are you saying the 2FA (Short SMS and/or voice) with a US bank to verify was being done using a Thai number on DTAC? If that is the case, many US banks and financial institutions now can only validate with a real US mobile phone number (not VoIP) and not a Thai number. If this IS the case the US eSIM thread should help.
Sorry if I misunderstand your issue. Perhaps try again with more detail and exact problem.

Re: ON-LINE BANKING USING DTAC
Caller ID can be hacked or spoofed, so banks encourage people to use their apps via a smartphone and/or 2FA authorization. Some banks no longer have an online (browser accessible) internet presence due to increasing security challenges. Smartphone apps are more secure.
I haven't used "telephone banking" with my banks since last century but I will admit it's still an option with my US bank.

Re: ON-LINE BANKING USING DTAC
I haven't had that issue with DTAC, but I know sometimes banks can get picky about Caller ID matching their records. It might help to double-check with your bank and make sure your number is updated on their end. It could also be worth calling DTAC to see if there’s anything weird going on with your account or if your number was flagged for some reason. I’ve had some small issues with number mismatches before, and a quick check usually clears it up.
