Weather in Udon ?

Any Update on weather for this coming week?
My family which includes 2 kids will visit Udon for a week.
Went to weather.com already. But wanted more info to prepare my luggage & shoes...

August 2002 Udon was completely flooded.. waste deep in some parts. Air port closed... roads in and out. It can happen.

The sewage system in Udon has had some major improvements in the last few years. Many of the notorious areas have been improved.

'tis the season of resurrection, and this thread deserves to be risen again.

It's hard to take comfort in the heat.......but despite many days of reported 100+ degree days in Udon, today is the first day of the year that we've broken 100 at kilo 18. 100.4 A few degrees cooler than downtown doesn't make it cool, but with this kind of heat, any relief is welcome.

Try keeping the thermometer out of the sun .....

Officially over 42 centigrade today. My Maximum minimum thermometer usually never more than one degree out (sometimes minimum is a fair bit higher as under a roof so doesn't get so cold over night).

I'm in Namsom 98km north of Udon.All I can say its bloody Hitter than Margate on a Easter weekend.46 degrees here to day.

I always thought that April, Songkran and the few weeks afterwards until the rain becomes more frequent, has always been Thailand's hottest season. Nothing unseasonable about it. Air conditioner sales and associated discounts traditionally spike in 'hot season' and getting a repair man to come and clean your existing ones is always a bit of an exercise during the 'hot season'.

...like now.
