Miss Udon 99?

I would like to encourage all members to vote Miss 99 in the forthcoming Miss Udon contest.
Yes its a family member, god I wish it it was not.

Next week on the 8th for all who may be in attendance.

Ps I have a picture of a dog in sunglasses, the competition?

Definately worthy of a vote Roy, maybe we could do our own voting on-line for all the girls if someone has the pics to post.

I think it refers to the Luxton and District Bus Company from the 1970's British Sitcom "On The Buses" Roy's Avatar is Inspector Blake.

The Buses in the sitcom, were green the same colour as Miss Udon 99's Chot Thai.

Anyone remember the characters?

Hi Roy,

Have her make-up and hairstyle completed by Jo'an in Kut Chap (First salon on the right as you enter Kut Chap from Udon). This lady did the styling for four out of the top five ladies in last week's area run-up competion.

Also remember that the judges are impartial, so that the number of people who give her roses bears no relationship to the results and it is only coincidence that those who win received the most roses.

Thanks for the tip gulfman but she already has a Katoy lined up to do her make-up.

So the roses don't count, I subsidized the family to the tune of erm well quite a lot when she won her area contest but hey ho it was all going to some local charity project so I don't really mind.

Just for you BM, some snaps taken on Saturday of the informal parade. I will endevour to take more of the 110 beauty's at the event proper this weekend.

I think No.80 in the forth pic down has slightly overdone the white face powder, she looks like a corpse

Looks some real nice beauties in the comp and thats just a small sample...its going to be tough but 'ber gao-sip-gao' is amongst the best so far she is velly nice, good luck to her and make sure the number badge don't slip upside down as votes might go to 66 instead.

LOL, IMO they would all look better without the white emulsion paint pasted on their faces like masks. I think their natural skin colour looks much better.

Looks like a number of the entrants could do with a copy of the Culture Ministry's guide to Thai etiquette...and what the heck is it with wearing makeup? Why don't they ever believe us when we tell them they look better without it?
