Hoping for one of the Tiger girls - but deep down , I know, as you say its not what I will actually receive.

More likely a bottle of Tiger beer is the closest I will get :(

Or handkerchiefs, initials in the corner so he knows she has only thoughts about him. Although, on second thoughts, if a Thai boy, these will be purely decorative.

It will be perfect, promise you Bangsean_girl

I've already put in my request for a new pair of slippers, my last pair are knackered now, since I've been so house bound after my op :(

Practical present:- Subscription for him to see his favourite football team on TV. :D

Romantic present:- Pair of Lovebirds.

Gary.

P.S. The Lovebirds can be a bit noisey at times. :?

How would all guys feel if they got the card (hand made one) or something that his girlfriend make to him by herself ? I mean its not cost much money from her but it take loads of time to do it . I'm wondering if the guys will think it's valuable or he would want something more expensive than that.? :?:

Bangsean_girl, I would love such a thing! To be honest, I have a birthday card beside my computer that is not just from my last birthday, but the one before that! And although I did not get a Christmas card this time, the one from the previous Christmas is also beside my computer!

But it will depend on the guy. The simplest things can often mean so very much, and be deeply touching. To be honest, if Jack had actually made something for me, I'd never put it away!

I'm not too fussy, anything would be nice.

I personally think that anything made by hand i.e. card, is worth far more than anything money can buy.
I would be really happy to receive a handmade card; it would mean more to me than anything bought at a local shopping mall.

I think that a handmade card would be good idea also. I always like the unusual or unexpected. I am on my way back over just in time for valentines day and I got Waen a card bigger than my suitcase.
Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck

When asked my wife replied, nothing really, I've got my own Valentine, every day of the year :D In reality I'm having a nice piece of jewelry made for her that I designed myself.
From her I am getting a large bottle of Glemorangie Sherry Wood whiskey which she went all the way to Singapore to get after searching fruitlessly in Thailand.
