Hi, looking for land and Single storey house in the Udon Area, I am trying as hard as I can to not have to build, having built three houses in Thailand previously I dont want to go down that route again!

Ideal house will be well constructed - cool - meaning well insulated, 3/4 bedrooms, 4/5 bathrooms, furniture unimportant, preferably no pool on about 2 - 3 Rai walled land, good quite location essential.
Price up to 9 million - cash waiting for the right place.

Obviously looked at whats on the market at present and nothing quite reaches above criteria - does it exist?

I am about to list my house in Ban nong muong town .This is about 11 Kms south of Udon .The house was originally the main house of a resort .It has 4 rai that is walled .It is very quiet for a Thai house , has 3 bedrooms ,only two bathrooms .It has a huge master bedroom with an office .It is a very unique house and property and we have had many offers from others wanting to buy it from us in the past but I never wanted to sell it .I have been doing all of the renovations to the place myself because I do not like the workmanship of the Thais .It still needs the main part of the house to be tiled and a sidewalk around the outside but that could be done for around 150,000 bht .
There is also a finished care takers house and an unfinished third house .
If you would like to have a look at it , I will give you more specific directions .
Price is going to be about 9mil.

^ Sounds interesting, but guess it wasn't meant to be for me as I did find somewhere, which though not perfect met most of my needs - should be finished knocking it around in a couple off years!
