PREMISES:

A beautiful main house with a separate granny flat.

It has a car park, and an aqua/ hydroponics set up that’s ready to grow your own organic vegetables (kale, peppers, tomatoes, peas etc.), and fish such as bass, barramundi, catfish and a local variety of fish called pla-nin. While your fish are growing you can enjoy eating the organic vegetables.

There is a herb garden at the front of the house and also many herb pot plants, oregano, basil, aloe vera etc.

The house is located a hundred and fifty metres away from the mighty Mekong River. The house is located on a quiet private street, its couple minutes away from shops and restaurants and a few minutes away from a hospital with modern facilities.

The town is 20 minutes’ drive away from the major provincial city called Nongkhai, An hour away from Udon Thani- one of the major cities in the north-east of Thailand, Udon Thani is a shoppers delight, it has a Central Plaza, many market places, a Tops, a Villa (all selling imported and international produce and products), a Computer/ Electronics shopping centre, and it also has many top hospitals both private and government. And even a private international school, for your child or grandchild to attend.

From the Udon Thani International Airport, Bangkok is just an hour flight away.

Our family opted for a quiet street in a quiet area, it’s only a hundred and fifty metres away from the Mekong River. The Mekong River is full of fish and some big game fishing- such as the Mekong river cat fish, one of the biggest fresh water fishes in the world. A fishing boat is cheap and can be purchased in Thabo or NongKhai. On the other side of the Mekong River bank is Laos.

The river has a beautiful river walk way, that’s great for morning / evening walks (runs or cycling), many locals and foreigners enjoy the scenery and fresh air there.

Thabo has many restaurants, coffee shops, markets, schools- private and government, temples, churches due to it being a Buddhist and Christian community.

Long term leases available to Foreigners and Thais, are Government approved.
Example: A 20 year lease is

$65 per week (2145 baht)

$260 per month (8580 baht)

$3120 per year (102, 960 baht) X 20 years.

The pictures did, eventually, appear for me Harry - see below.

That was using Firefox.

He has used 'slide show' pictures within pictures & while that makes for good viewing it also takes a VERY long time for the complete picture page to appear populated with pictures as the pictures are large to load,
