Hi I'm selling my 2009 Ninja 650r which I bought new in Sept 09. It has covered a genuine 25,000km which was mostly long tours, so the gear box has not been slaughtered like someone who'd use it to bar hop or pop to the 7/11, basically it never comes out unless it's gonna do a minimum 100k trip, this bike has been to Krabi, Ko Chang, Pattaya, Bangkokx2, Chiang Maix2 including Doi Intanon. It makes an excellent touring bike, and can usually get around 200km before the warning light comes on for refueling. The bike fell off its stand once when I parked on a camber and it rolled forward, the only mark is on the crank case (see pic.) other than this the bike is absolutely brilliant and accident free. Oil has been changed every 3000km rather than the specified 6000km, and all servicing is upto date and been carried out by the local Kawasaki dealership. You can test ride this bike when you put the money in my hands, if it's not for you I hand the money back. I have done a number of mods, including a restyled seat to give a solo seat effect, the grey seat reduces heat slightly when left in the sun. I have tidied up the rear end and put mini LED flashers, the exhaust is a straight through MTC can however I customized it by placing the original tail piece to make it look standard, however this can weighs 4kgs over the original 12kgs. For those not familiar with Kawasaki in Thailand, these are proper Thai registered bikes, not grey imports with mickey mouse books, and there is a vast dealership throughout LOS and parts are cheap and readily available. This is the best option for big bikes in Thailand.
