There is a Soi Dog foundation which posts on FB on numerous occasions, not only looking for donations but also owners for their dogs. They could be a way to get a dog you want, and as local mix and match can be hardier then well known breeds

We tried KP, we had local dogs for the first 2 years up here. Some can be great companions, but are prone to be more aggressive in protecting their new homes, even against humans, and because they were not vaccinated as puppies things such as Heart Worms and Dog Measles tend to be prevalent. Its really up to what you want, get them as young pups and they can be great family dogs as they grow.

Ours are all gone now Gary, except the boy and girl the missus wanted to keep. Cheers anyway.
