Depends on what you call medium sized...
I found that most used offers are not so much below what they ask new in the shops and bought 2 tanks with a stand sized 92 x 46 x 46 cm with light, filter, gravel etc for 9000 all complete incl. delivery and set up.
Then I bought a dozen of 40 x 20 x 25 for 200.- each.
Prizes vary from shop to shop (as much as +50%) so look around!
