The sort of gutter you illustrate doubt if you will find here for the simple reason the rainfall at times is so heavy it will simply flow over the top of it. Local guttering is much wider and deeper because of this. You can get both galvanised and stainless from the merchants normally plying their wares from pickups round the village .
Ageing is a privilige denied to many .

Windsor have gutters in white plastic/Vinyl, works fine and look nice but the craftmanship of the people install it make you wish for more. But under your supervision it will work fine...

I had Windsor come out to fit a 10 m section of roof. I didn't need the whole thing done, so they never even bothered a courtesy call back. I have a large garage going up now and a pool house planned for later this year. Ya think they are going to get my business? Ha!

Screw 'em. [-(

FWIW, while at their office discussing my needs, the older lady clearly stated the brown gutter I was interested in was of inferior quality and they had so many complaints about it, they ceased selling it. Well, then the older guy (the proprietor, I presumed) came in at the tail end of the conversation and decided he was going to push the remaining inventory off on me - completely contradicting the lady. The lady was visibly taken aback that they guy was trying to screw me over.

The older guy is the one who came out to check how much and where I needed the gutters - trying to convince me to do the whole house when it was not needed. My overhangs and runoff slope in all but that one section were/are obviously more than adequate.

All that said, I am in the market for rain gutters, too. The small metal shop at the NK/RR intersection quoted me 100 baht/m if I installed and 160 baht/m if they installed standard size (15-20? cm wide) stainless steel gutters. I'd rather have something that blends in (white or brown plastic, preferred), but at least they are an option. I can't vouch for them, but if you are facing NK and standing at the center of the intersection, they are at 7 o'clock.

Cheers!

the supplier of windsor , used by home mart is located near the train station , and i have recently asked the price , it is 550 baht /meter including work...., about same price as they are asking for 6 inch stainless ones , now when are home is finished i will go buy them myself an install them , as the galvanized ones cost 170 baht / 2,40m , so the stainless ones surely will not cost 550/m, so will update this later.... ;)

I wouldn't be so sure kopkie. Stainless metal is not cheap. I've just had a mega bill for providing stainless steel channeling for the roof of my house.
The same company that provided the channeling also do white and brown UPVC guttering at 500baht a metre. I was told that includes all the additional fixtures.
They are situated on the slip road down the side of the Big C overpass as you come into town.

Price update:

Stainless 6" = 350/m
Stainless 4" = 250/m

Pipe is 3" and charged at same per meter rate as the gutter to which it is connected.

Shop Location:

If you are inside Ring Road headed west on the road to Kutchap, the shop is on the left side near the Ring Road intersection and just before the steel shop at the corner. Quick crew and I am a happy customer. I recommend them with one reservation: Measure yourself before and after. It may have been an honest math mistake, but my bill was for 36 m when it should have been 26 m. The error was quickly and amicably corrected.

Last Friday we shopped around for gutters for the outdoor kitchen, but couldn't find any shop (some known addresses were closed due to holiday). We decided to call a guy who advertises on local trees. Saturday morning at 8 am a pick-up truck parks in front of the gate, we explain what we need, settle on a price a three men get to work.
90 minutes later an excellent job had been done, total damage for 4.5 meter gutter and 5 meter custom build drainage pipe, all installed THB 1430.
We've chosen the cheapest variety for this job, THB 160 per meter gutter, but they also have a premium quality gutter that costs THB 100 more per meter.

Might be a good idea to give them a call.

Remember that stainless steel comes in different grades and the lower grade stainless will be prone to rust.
18/8 (316) is a good grade for this type of application - be sure the welds are made with the same grade.
I personally used galvanised guttering and had it painted.

I assume you mean your had the outside of the gutter painted to match the decor of the house and not prevet rust formation.

as we are building we went to look also for the rain gutters , now the 6 inch good quality stainless gutters cost 650 baht for a length of 2,40M( 271 baht/meter) when you install them yourself ,what a lot cheaper is than the 500-700 baht/ meter those guys whom drive around to sell ask..., and i will pay some of the house builders to install them , a lot cheaper... ;)

Ouch! Lemme guess...did YOU accompany the wife?

I had my wife call from the road and inquire. Then we pulled up a few minutes later (her driving, me in the back seat with our son). She got out and only after confirming pricing did she signal me to come take a look.

It's a shame we have to have that sort of routine, but TIT. :( Anyway, we're happy with the gutters. Installing them has also solved a long-time leaky roof mystery as to how water was getting in after I PERSONALLY sealed the roof. Turns out the upper roof must have been dripping onto the lower roof and entering via the "hump joints" between tiles. I hadn't sealed those thinking water should not be able to flow over the humps. Problem solved! :)

Hmmm...I may have to correct myself. I told the Mrs. "stainless". I was told during installation it was stainless (because it looked a bit off - no shine to it). Now she tells me we bought thick tin (sang-a-see na). If I ask again a month from now it will be "aluminium"(!). I'm presently having another one of those only in f'ing Thailand blood pressure moments...

If a mod could be so kind as to correct my previous post, I would appreciate it.

My apologies to you, Kopkei, and anyone else who may have went there.

no prob khondahm , you have bought the galvanized ones , i did find it all ready strange as we are building a home and so many all ready did stop with these gutters, none of them could install them for 350 , prices went from 600-800 for the #30..
so the price i got is interesting i think...and you can check when they install them , mine had black stamp on them stating the thickness of 30 and made in japan?...anyway it all looks nice and good for the moment...
and your galvanized ones will probably do the job too... ;)
