What a load of cowpat. Most places these days display prices be it a restaurant or a shop.Khun Paul wrote:The argument over the cost of sausages and whether the price is displayed is rather silly. Most places I buy food from unless it is of course Big C or Tesco, you actually have to have a conversation to ascertain the price for the goods you want. Steve at T bar displays the price on the door for his pies but for his sausages you have to look at the packet you have chosen. Elsewhere you ask. it is called conversation and in talking to the retailer you might on occasion find a discount or two depending on what and how many you buy and whether he/she likes you or not.
it seems that some posters have forgotten the power of speech and thereby require everything in black and white so they can make their mind up from the safety of their armchairs without venturing outside to actually meet another human being.
The old adage if you have to ask the price you cannot afford it , does not apply to food which varies enormously depending on what and how many or much you buy, also as Jon says, each to their own. There have been occasionally times when I purchased some sausages which were not to my taste, so next time I changed the type and always seek as many do the best bargain for what I want but in all truthfulness, if you want good food you have to pay for it.
Maybe a few Yai and Da shops in Ban Nok but that’s about it. Your living in dream land me laddo…
