Posted in the golf shop at Victory Park golf course today was a notice reading "In order to comply with the government policy of 300 baht per day minimum wage we are increasing the caddy fee from 200 baht to 240 baht effective 1 April, 2013....

Yes the notification effective commencement date says it all!!!!

Or the golf course is paying them 60 to 100 bht and the hacker must supplement the direct wage to total 300.

I have never played golf in Thailand but may be they caddy on average more than once a day? If so, may be the title should have been Farang Logic or Farang Maths Skills. I am happy if the 300 baht law is helping the caddies. I also tip my hat to those brave enough to play golf in Udon given the hot climate.

I see that Thai Smile had to abort a take off because of a passenger who went Berserk .....

My question is, having been outside a few times over the last couple of days ........ How could they tell he had gone Berserk?

Perfect Logic, You pay them Bt300<>60 Baht goes to the Golf Shop<>they just upfront a clear about it so the caddies want get the idea they will walk away with 300 baht at the end of the day.

Me thinks some people are getting Caddy fee and Caddy TIP mixed up ...... the tip is "UP to You" as they say in all the famous resorts
