I listened to and watched most this one today. Very compelling. I had never heard of Mike Benz before watching/listening to this.

I would say if you are curious but loathed to spend the 2 hours 43 min, this one may be the one per year worth the time. You can always change the YouTube playback speed if time is a big issue.

dug a lot and couldn't find much other than he was a Deputy Assistant Secretary at State, an appointee job during Trump's 1st term.. State doesn't even have a bio for him, just a placeholder saying it'll be posted when available. Further digging finds he was a speechwriter for Trump. How long he was a "diplomat" (he wasn't) working for State isn't posted but having that job appears to be his biggest claim to fame.. I'll selectively watch the video... He says Google came to him for info? A 3rd or 4th level guy in the State Department?? Nah..... Lost me at the eastern areas broke free and Crimea had a referendum? Yeah, little green men? Direct Russian military support for Luhansk and Donetsk from Russia? Come on guy, you're preaching to your echo chamber...

So let me understand your thoughts... You don't disagree with the message just the messenger's credentials?

I admitted myself I have never heard of him before today but who am I to think I should? I am not that good, not that righteous or politically savvy and most certainly don't know all the players names. I simply think the message is compelling and worth a listen/read. He is obviously learned it the area of which he speaks in my layman eyes. If you are inferring he is lying and/or planting some kind of non-partisan damage to US government agencies, well I'd like to hear the other side of that argument for sure.
We can always call him a nut job and cancel him if that is the game you wish to play but that is not what I think is a way to understand the issues completely myself as I am not a player in that game. That is just my opinion though, you do you.

As an analogy, I recall the attempt to censure JFK Jr. by democrats in a subcommittee hearing on censorship recently that kind of gives Benz discussion even more credence. Think about that one. I'm just saying...

Hamas and the Palestinian Authority are in brokered peace talks to sort out their mess so they stop being Iran's stooges and leave Israel alone in peace which is ALL that the Israeli's want.

For clarity, the Moscow-aligned party that won the recent election under broad suspicion of foreign interference, has decided to suspend the negations over EU membership. I believe there's been at least 10 days of public demonstrations against this decision.

The leader of the opposition has been beaten up at his party HQ and dragged away by the local bobbies. The government has ordered the arrest of all other opposition party leaders.

Interesting and somewhat timely when the decision to cancel the second round of the election in Romania seems to focus on how the pro-Russian first round winner's campaign used TikTok.

As for Mike Benz, compelling, yes, but Joe seriously needs to have a mute button on his microphone or learn to use the one he has. His groans and gasps of incredulity or dismay during video playbacks sounds like he's getting his nut.
