Aznyron,,, thank you for your post,,,,,,, I, like many others, have formed my own views based on many sources and don't happen to agree with your conclusions... Maybe this is something like that example where they have eye witnesses see the same incident and everyone tells a different story about what they saw,,, ;)

I've even seen reporting that took each of the so called "facts" common to the conspiracy theories out there and disproved them one by one. But that would probably be something you would not agree with and that's OK, it's probably just a difference of psychological makeup. Do you agree with most of the conspiracy theories like the JFK assassination, moon landing, Area 51, Roswell, etc. If so,, do you wonder why?

I am also somewhat limited in my ability to agree with people that resort to the same epithets again and again, for example; lies, BS, phony, terrorist, war criminal, hang, crook, etc, etc. That doesn't convince me of anyone's opinion.

Many opinions is one of the great things in this world and I don't think I'm going to convince you or you me. But I do think we can still find common ground on a lot of things.
Regards,,, LL

Hear, hear!!!

I am not a great believer in 'the truth of government' (I think they are ALL lying *****). However, I do struggle with the theory that the trade centre was a totally 'inside job'. Could I believe that the 'powers to be' knew about the plot & thought it was advantageous to let it continue?? Yes, I could believe that. I can not believe that the planes were a hoax or illusion & that the complete place was wired to be destroyed. That is really for two reasons.
1. I just do not believe that any government would resort to such a vile act, when other ways were present that would produce the same result.
2. The number of people who would be needed to do this means that the risk of exposure must be great - someone involved would be **** off about something and 'spill the beans' soon enough..

Ron I don't wish to get into a prolonged debate over this issue, or any other. You have your opinions and so have I. But you seem to make some presumptions about people who disagree with you. First of all I am not a Republican, didn't vote for Bush either time he ran. I thought he was an ineffective president although I agree with his actions regarding 9/11 and the subsequent War on Terror. I did take the time to investigate the 9/11 tragedy, as I had a professional interest as well as the curiosity of a citizen. I am a retired structural engineer who has designed and built many steel and concrete structures, as well as presiding over the controlled demolition of some. As a past member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, I read many of the studies performed by that group, all of them coming to the same conclusion. I will not attempt to answer each point that has been raised by the conspiracy theorists. Just like the Kennedy assassination, Area 51, etc. the possibilities for questioning are endless. I will give you one link which rebuts the more popular theories in layman's terms, should you care to investigate further:

That is all I have to say on this subject. I would much rather discuss the Baht, Visa problems, and where the best restaurants are. Hope to continue to get your insight on these issues.

thank you for the link I will look at it thoroughly and I will evaluate there opinion now to give you my
credentials I was a Vol Firemen for 26 years in Nassau County New York I also made my living as Heavy Construction Carpenter and yes I work on the WTC before it was completed I also read many articles in
Fire Engineering magazine long before 9/11 when 9/11 took place I was retired from both the fire department & my trade Union as for the Magazine Popular Mechanics I was once a subscriber
I do respect there opinions but I also respect Fire Engineering opinions a little bit more since they do this 24/7 365 days a year with out a break so when articles are produced disputing claims made by
9/11 commission I pay attention to them I also want to point out GWB refused to go under Oath
as well as his V.P also they refuse to be questioned separately which ads to suspicion also
all 3 buildings came down exactly the same like it was a controlled demolition and on another note which many have over looked the slip of the tongue by GWB when he said the building collapsed when in fact it not had happened as of yet. as for the JFK assassination all I can say is follow the money getting back to 9/11 I also saw interviews of people & firemen who were there and what they said and what they heard prior to the collapse now to answer your question about Popular Mechanics if they were
to produce a story agreeing with the conspiracy theorist people they would be no longer in business
so they have a personal stake in there reported opinions. I also want to say I lost over 300 brothers (firemen) on that day plus my sister in law so this is just more than a personal vendetta I want the truth and nothing less & so far all I am getting is B/S from sources which IMO know nothing

I was going to Brisbane on 11 Sept, (2 hours on the train) so was up early. Switched on the TV and saw the aircraft crash into one of the towers. I thought it was a disaster movie so switched TV off, had breakfast and left for the station.

It was not untill I arrived at my doctors for a 9:30 am appointment that I knew anything about the attacks. My heart went out to those killed and injured.

When I arrived home that afternoon and checked the Australian share market I realised the buy order I placed the night before had proceeded. Big mistake.

May all those affected either RIP or recover from their injuries.

John
