I think the difference with Thailand is that a lot of the time it is right in your face, in a public and VERY sexual way... and because of that lots of peope assume all thai girls are like that..its all about perception
I know some horror stories of western girls going from man to man stealing and leeching as they go, you also see it every day with so called beauties being with old rich men....go read the family law finance cases to see even more horror stories.... 18 year olds fall for 60 year old men all the time when the men are poor and jobless... YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!
If you are silly enough to think you will find real love in a go go bar (well it COULD happen but what are the odds) or an internet dating site, and if you REALLY believe that you can love someone after a few MSN's and the parting of a few grand over the internet, you deserve everything you get...
IMO real love (remember only a word) comes from chance meetings in public, in the real world... not from paying a bird to be your wife .. and that is the same all over the world....
39 years is a hell of a long time.. congrats
If love is just a word, why are you so caught up on the whole
real love thing? What makes you think that anybody either marrying a girl from a bar or from an internet dating site is looking for
real love? I would think they are primarily looking for companionship in life. I doubt anybody dating/married to either lives in cloud cuckoo land and has visions of riding off into the sunset on a white charger blissfully in love.
