Too coincidental. I don't believe a word of it. A truly spurned partner would have posted photos, named names and slung some serious ----.

I agree with Texpat: it's a set up or a weak try to write a novel

Think of the following:

1) Of the 42 posts only 4 are from Terry, written in a three day period (Oct 9 until Oct 12), more than 3.5 months ago;

2) He wrote himself he would arrive in Udon on Jan 7 and even wanted to join the Nightmarket Gettogether. I have not read anything about Terry being here, visiting his TGF and looking for the house of the sister. Nor have I read about Terry at the Nightmarket Meeting. So if he didn't come to Udon, why? If he came why no update on the TGF house? This is why he started the thread remember?

Then 3.5 months after Terry's last post some family members? of his last partner show up and tell us he is a fraud.
So what? We don't marry him do we? We don't give him money do we? We don't buy the house for the TGF do we?

His baggage (history at home before Thailand) is his private matter and of no concern to us. On top it is totally off topic as this thread is about Terry asking advice about the situation with his TGF house.

I hope Terry will post soon to update us on the original topic or tell us it was all fake.

I agree it is a comic story but too much set up.

Well fantasy or not we have all had a good laugh out of it and apparently the girls mother can now see the funny side of things, so no ones hurt except perhaps Tinyterry but he has had plenty of time to post his side of things and hasn't done so.For me, even at my ripe old age I have learnt that should I ever be in the market for a new wife to check that any step kids are NOT computer savvy .

I've read all the posts so far and there have been some good points raised. It has been some time ago since this chap posted his comments, and very recent other posts by the person in the UK. A couple of points come to mind:

Firstly it may all be a wind up of some kind.
Secondly, it may be true what this lady is saying although it doesn't explain the long time between posts.
Thirdly, I was with a girl in the UK for a while, and when I finished it (for no reason other than I knew it wan't going to work out), she went hell for leather to destroy any reputation I had. A complete nutter who put the bad word everywhere. Perhaps the UK lady has found his posts/where he wanted to go, and decided to seek revenge? We don't know the circumstances and there are ALWAYS 2 sides to a story. I've even had an ex of mine join this site under a blokes name, read up on my posts and then give me grief about it via email. It happens.

Nah.he joined a full month before,anyway he was supposed to be back in UK at end of January so maybe no more posts again after what has happened.

Someone said if the step daughter was out to get him, there would be photos as well - there was - for a while. I think the magic mod. wand has erased them.
