@LA:
Ditto your sentiments, or rather the lack thereof.

@BKKStan:
Yours truly has no plan to be anywhere in the remotest vicinity of the subject of the thread. I much prefer to be amused from afar.

@Oldfield:
You, sir, are spot-on in your comment (note boldface):

Good luck
My bet is that you will be back in LOS's before the year is out.
Doc does China? An interesting character but a survivor. If he signed a contract then he will stick it out until the end of the school year next June-ish. If he tries to leave earlier they will chain him to a desk. :lol:

Wish him luck.
You obviously don't know the man. I ain't saying any more.

I know Doc quite well and I'm sure he would have negotiated a higher salary than that.

I got the impression that he wouldn't get out of bed for less than 30 grand (THB).

That explains Doc's good looks - he is Linda Evangalista's son :D

Linda Evangelista (born May 10, 1965 in St. Catharines, Ontario) is a Canadian supermodel. She is part of "The Trinity". She uttered the quote "We don't wake up for less than $10,000 a day

i was in china last year for a while and for some reason Udonmap was one of the many websites banned. I had to use a proxy to access it. Any comments on why it was banned?

Well I for one never met or crossed swords with 'Doc' , but it seems he's the person that most of you 'love to hate' - strange then that his departure has led to such a surge of postings ! Me thinks there's more to this, do some of you quietly miss having someone to argue with and/or criticise, maybe his views brought a little excitement into your discussions.
I think you miss him really, you might not agree with him, but you miss him ! :lol:

Well Mally, most forumites don't publish their excellent good fortune in this manner. Congratulations on not having met or crossed swords with 'Doc'. :shock: With 82 posts I should have thought he might have tried to contradict at least one of them :D . As for me missing Doc, let's just say, if I've had a tooth ache for several months and then one day wake up and it's gone... I will recognize that it's no longer their but I won't really miss it. 8)

I didn't agree with everything that Doc wrote but he did make the forum more lively and entertaining.

Good luck in China :D

Simple:''I deny reinventing myself in Thailand''!''I have always been the last word of expertise in my conversations!''I wasn't born with a superiority complex,I developed it after I got my ''degrees''!''After all,why do I call myself Doc?'' :(

Some agree with Doc and some disagree however everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Lets see the old saying is "everyone has a butt hole".

As I have met quite a few of the posters on this forum and have to say most are like me, very opinionated. Seems that is the norm especially for some of us a bit long in the tooth. In saying that why not let sleeping dogs lie and stay positive.

Luck to Doc in whatever endeavors he tackles in the future. For that matter this goes to all of us.
