5. The Hunt for Red October
6. Or "Richard of York gave battle in vain"
Sit in the front of the class.

Anagram for the colours of the spectrum. 'R' for RED.

I rather like the virgins in bed one, from a particularly PI physics lecturer I had.

I submitted your objection to the adjudication committee, sorry Stat, they came down in favour of Samster. Their reasoning, they have never seen a cricket ball used on a billiard table at night, so 'cricket ball' is the correct answer, 'red ball' is too vague.

If you have documentary evidence of anybody using a cricket ball at night for snooker, badminton, ten pin, basketball or any other sport they will entertain your objection at the next appeals committee meeting on 31/9/2022.

I refer you to the case of Havering cricket club vs Statts (July 1973) where said Statts was severely reprimanded for playing pool with a cricket ball .......... found guilty and had to serve one year as Bar steward and treasurer of the social club, during which time I changed the brewery supplier from Charringtons to Green K i n g and wangled a complete refurbishment of the bar paid for by the brewery :drunk:

Sorry Mr.P

All answers incorrect, there is no red in Alice Springs, the opposite of brown eye is indeed red eye but not the answer I am after. 6 and 9 no where near the mark. Look at hint in original post for answers to 4 and 9.

6) Rainbow (Richard of York gave battle in vain)?

It was recorded at Sun Recording Studio in 1956, Memphis, Tennessee. The three tenors, of course, were Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis. The conductor was Sam Phillips. The famous event the next day was Christmas.

How did I doodoo?
