I find myself in the camp of those who feel that this guy should be left alone. But this is with the provision that he was not actively and directly engaged in providing partners for the Farangs who would visit his facilities.
The truly ugly element in the prostitution racket is when the 'comfort-providers' have been tricked or otherwise taken advantage of, and left with little option over what is going to be happening to them.
If there are instances in which gullible innocents have been coerced into serving the needs of the visitors, then to Blazes with this guy.
But if all participants were most willing with their involvement, and would be conducting themselves similarly in other venues if this one had not been handy, then I have absolutely no issue with what went on there.

I think the owners of the bars collecting bar fines are far more involved in the prostitution game than the reported activities of this proprietor.
Maybe he has received the attention of the police because of his website and the fact that he advertises SEX!
I wonder if they will get him for no work permit or working outside the parameters of a work permit?
If he is not the actual legal owner,whoever is would have to stand for the charges and then ,the question is :was there illegal activity going on?

I also have no problems with this type of resort, the place looked clean, well managed and discreet. I think if he'd avoided going into too much detail on the internet then he may have avoided problems. I think the main issue here is that he was advertising sexual services worldwide, and I'm sure this is something the local authorities would like to avoid. Of course they know it exists everywhere but advertising of this nature doesn't help their countries image. I think a little discretion in his advertising would have helped.

She also explained to the police how she ran her business. She told them that she searching for girls who were between 11-17 years old that were homeless, latchkey kids, runaways, or the children of ladies working in bars who had been left to fend for themselves. Ms Amornrat told the police that she now had more than 10 girls on her books. The going rate for a virgin was 5,000 Baht of which 1,000 Baht was given to the girl. Younger children are being targeted because some foreign men believe that younger children are unlikely to be infected with HIV/AIDS.
Ms. Amornrat continued with her confession saying that after she got the girls she contacted potential clients and would deliver them to the appropriate condominium or apartment and then wait for the girl in the lobby to take her back to her house where she would put them up. She maintained that she essentially worked on recommendation.
On other occasions, a number of children, of both sexes, aged between 10 and 15, would be acquired for farang-only customers, including members of sex-tour groups. The children would have made movies made of them having sex with the farang which would later be made into VCDs that would be sold on the internet.
The police said they had an arrest warrant to arrest 50 foreigners, mostly old. A number of these men had been arrested on multiple occasions for the same offence. Some of the men were actually out on bail, but still continued to commit crimes of sex abuse of minors.

Dear friends of Udon Thani,
we are very sad about what happens to this resort. A few months ago my husband (43) and me (34), both european 'Farrangs' and swingers since a couple of years, visited this resort after we married buddhustic on Koh Samui a few weeks ago.
We are not in prostitution and we wouldn't visit any place were prostitution is the center thing! For this reason we didn't visit e.g. Phuket on our trip through whole Thailand, a land we learned to love at this wonderful time.
We spent 5 days at the ressort. And yes, we both had sex there, it was a really big time! With Austrians, Australians, Chinese, Vietnamese and Thais, mostly couples, all of them high educated, aged from middle twenties to middle fifites. There was only one single man from Great Britain, and at one evening some thai ladyboys and one thai women (studying at university, very resolute but charming, she did know what she wants - and what she don't want)), invited by the landlady to spent some time with us to have a party this evening. There worked two Thai women and one Thai gay man, allowed to have sex with the guests if they like to do so. It was a pure swinger resort within the international standard, no prostitution, no minors, no Sex between the staff, the guests on the one and the landlord/landlady (because the landlady was extremly jalousy *giggle*) on the other side! And last but not least: no parrots or other rare birds. The only animal we saw within the ressort was a Gecko. And we've been in all rooms of the resort!
We had some in the eccomodation-fair included trips e.g. to the Mekong, a market near the Mekong, to the Sculpture Parc, to a buddhistic cloister within the rain forrest, to a nature reservation, the landlady prepared wonderful thai meals and all drinks were incuded, too. But we didn't spent any money on the women or men working there, exept of a little tip at the end of our stay for the wonderful service they gave us - not for the sex! And we sent the staff, back home, by postal service a new pack of game-cards because their old one was too rubbish...
As you see: There was no reason to close this ressort and to arrest the owners as far as we two can assess the situation.

Everyone lives in their own little world,to you two, its just part of your every day lifestyle to enjoy sex with other couples and singles etc,etc....In Europe maybe you have your own circle of friends and lovers which is a private and non financial affair...but the way I see,in Thailand,if the local employees at a "Swinging Resort" are participating,then its for a financial gain NOT because they are "Swingers"!! so it adds up to Prostitution which ever way you look at it!

Panick, there were no girls - just adult women. And there was no Bar. Result: No Bar Girls. The stuff (just three persons of both genders!) was there to keep the rooms and the ressort clean and proper, to prepare the meals, to prepare the pool, to organise the trips, to translate on trips etc... And one of the local Thai couples were both doctors of medicine, they gave me (Marcella) help because of sun-sickness - are they now thai prostitutes or swingers? And one of the local thai women was totally unknown to Tony & Ning - she was there for the first time because a friend invited her to share the Party. She was offered by the australian couple to spent with them one or two weeks travelling together around whole Thailand for a lot of money, but she declined this offer. But she found us sympathic and had wonderful Sex with us this night, befor she left the resort in the early morning, going studying. She didn't get one Baht, either from us nor from Tony & Ning, we can swear that - is she a ***** or a swinger?
