it was always going to go this way .. im sure the guy was relieved of a few baht to let it all drift into the non news worthy filing cabinet... wonder if he left his rather adulterous and unscrupulous missus ?? .. possibly a great time to move and forget to tell her where too.

There are precious few investigative journalists in Thailand......unless you're someone like a Joe Ferrari, you won't qualify for follow-up reporting. It doesn't necessarily mean that the case is closed. The same thing happened with the drunk foreigner who was fleeing police near the Chinese temple in Nongbua.....whacked a mother/child on a motorcycle with his truck. It was in the news for a day or two......but what happened in the end was not reported (that I saw).
