Re: Non Wau Sor News
Well to get topic back to some news. For those living in Nong Wai, Nong Or and a few other local villages, can't list them all, this Friday 8th Sept there will be extensive long electricity outages from 9am till 4pm. Amphoe and Tessa Bahn will be open but unable to process anything involving their computers, which is almost everything, so don't waste your time going .Guess a good day to pop into town .

Re: Non Wau Sor News
Thanx TB. Fortunately myself shall be excluded as I have my own power source.
Re: Non Wau Sor News
Yes 15years ago when I first moved here I did consider getting a generator as the cuts were fairly frequent, but things have improved over the years and now we don't have many, although we are still vulnerable to the odd one or two when someone crashes into a power pole and brings it down .Currently my security is battery backed up but my other appliances I switch off at the main as when they do work like this in my experience they often put the power back on in flashes before reconnecting completely and this doesn't do things like my air conditioners and fridge/ freezers any good .

Re: Non Wau Sor News
If I remember you said you live in Non Wau So, not Nong Wai .Mine certainly went off , annoyingly at 8.10, before the scheduled time and before I could get a shower and shave, ended up like a boy scout tipping water out of the rain bucket over my head.Mosquito wrote: ↑September 8, 2017, 12:49 pmJust returned from town, no power outage.................did they change the date??trubrit wrote: ↑September 6, 2017, 11:56 amWell to get topic back to some news. Do appreciate the heads up though, seriously.......better to be prepared for this stuff and a run into town for stuff isn't a bad thing.

Re: Non Wau Sor News
We don't live in Nongwausor, but we're close enough that we go to the market there a few times a week. My wife says their prices are better than most any other market around, certainly much cheaper than city market prices.
And just down the main highway about 500meters is the Nongwausor Resort/coffee shop/restaurant. While my wife is shopping at the market, I'll call and order a take out of ginger pork......they cook it up the way I like it. By the time my wife is done at the market, we swing by the restaurant and my order is ready. Today, while there, I noticed three signs announcing a variety of biker activities.....one in Nov, another in Jan, and a third in Fed.
If you have youngun's, or just like seeing one of the area's nicest fish ponds, stop by the restaurant for a coffee or meal.

Amphoe Nong Wau So, a busy week for the girls this week. The government has donated 2,000 sets of shirts caps and scarfs to be given free to the many people that registered to volunteer to help with the big event later this month. They all had to be repacked in sets before being given out.Haven't seen the wife for two days.

Re: Non Wau Sor News
Well it's been a busy week for the local police so far this week with two murders on their books. The first yesterday when a good friend of ours was found murdered and his body stuffed down a sewage well .The basic details are he was stabbed with a kitchen knife 10 times at multiple places around his body, with four of them being in the stomache which left his intestines hanging out. The police initially suspected his 22 year old wife who reported finding his body as her story didn't tally with several known facts surrounding the circumstances. Tonight have just found out she has confessed and been charged with his murder, saying a domestic argument escalated into violence. Now today another murder has been reported a bit more straight forward this time involving an ex husband killing the new one , equally gruesome, but involving a chunk of wood as the weapon rather than a knife this time.

Re: Non Wau Sor News
From time to time we read about wives who decapitate their husbands organs and feed them to the ducks......in most all cases, it's a case of a husband cheating on his wife. In this case, the husband came back from a trip with a condom in his pocket.

I always thought you used a condom for safe sex but it seems it was didn't work for this poor man.parrot wrote: ↑November 15, 2017, 7:43 pmFrom time to time we read about wives who decapitate their husbands organs and feed them to the ducks......in most all cases, it's a case of a husband cheating on his wife.
