Hightech Bars Closed by police for 3 months

A selection of bars in Udon's Hightech Night Plaza have been closed for 3 months due to accepting entry to under 20's.

These bars include the popular Barboon, Know Bar etc.

I guess it's good news for Climax and Little Rock.

Stan - and don't take this personally - you complain when laws aren't enforced - but when they are enforced, you blame it all on corruption.

The least you could do is be consistant in your beliefs.

More specific criticism please.Not sure what laws not being enforced that you were referring to!I don't deny my cynicism as per my comment

The law that is being enforced in Udon Thani is that people under the age of 20 are not allowed in a bar unless accompanied by their parents or spouse, who also must be over the age of 20.

The reason behind this local law or requirement is to keep Udon Thani from becoming another Pattaya.

So yes, your comment that the police weren't being paid enough is way off center.

the BIBs from BKK do raid the kareokis but they get tipped off in advance .
