Fuel Injectors and Installation

I have a 2001 Honda City and I'm looking to buy new fuel injectors and have them installed. I know you can clean them, but it isn't all that much more to just install new ones.

I have gone to 3 auto parts stores around town, no one has fuel injectors.

I have asked 3 different shops in town, they won't install fuel injectors.

I know I can have all of this done at the Honda dealership, but I'm looking for cheaper options first. If I can find the correct injectors, I may just install them myself. It's about a 1 hour job and it wouldn't cost me too much for the tools.

I've only been in the area for a year, and I'm still learning where everything is.

Don’t know what part of town you’re in but lm in Kutchap where there is a good indendent garage. Just had my fuel injectors replaced on my Nissan Pick-up last week, 3100 Baht. The more people you ask the more likely you will come across someone who knows a decent garage in your area. Good luck.

Why are you changing them?? I can recommend as an easy and very cheap fix, get some injector cleaner from Tesco Lotus and add to a full tank of fuel and maybe repeat a couple of times, in my experience works miracles, I always put a bottle in all my vehicles every 5000 kms.

I'm inside the ring road, on the north side. I'd travel to any shop in central udon inside the ring road.

I looked up Kutchap and i'ts a bit far, but thanks for the price. It will give me a point of comparison.

I don't like fuel cleaner additives. I have not had the best of experience with them in the past.

I'm pretty sure the injectors on this car have never been cleaned or changed. The car is 16 years old, so I just want to install new ones. The man I bought the car from owned it for the past 10 years and he never cleaned or changed the injectors.

Bosch service centre on the inner KK road. Opposite side of the road to the air force base as you head into town.

The reason I changed mine is because of black smoke from the exhaust when pulling away and leaking from the engine when stationary, which first brought my attention to the problem. I had been using the cleaning fluid regularly before that.
