Queen mattresses

Post by tamada » August 22, 2018, 11:52 am

Apart from the (sometimes over-priced) stuff in Index, HomePro and other 'home stores', are there any local mattress specialist shops in town that we can check out? I will check out the one in the parking out back of Big C Nittayo but looking for similar, local, mattress-only shops.

Few weeks ago i was looking for mattress, At Home Pro they had one marked down from 43 000 B to 13 000 B, not knowing the brand i decided to google it. Surprise the EXACT same mattress was sold at regular price at ROBINSONS for
12500 B.. Yes Overpriced at HOME PRO. There is shop near the intersection at Global House on the Ring Road, called SURIYA see pic. I have not yet visited that shop. If you go post your comments. I am still looking.
Thanks Happy hunting..

Noted. The ones I am replacing were originally from Index but well past their sleep comfy on date. I recall a few years ago someone else recommending Index 'specials' on the big forum so thanks, Index is back on my list.

I got caught out on that, before we moved out here I asked the family to buy us a bed, it was Slumberland and cost about £1000 which to be fair is a little bit pricey compared to home but I was happy enough, until I got here and found out it was just a mattress, I think I parted with almost the same again for a divan, but I guess it was partly my fault, I didn't realise that Thai are perfectly happy to sleep on a mattress on the floor.
The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.
