Now, Greenland? Yes, he was serious about possibly purchasing it from Denmark but the 50,000 inhabitants of the largest island in the world, primarily Innuit who have autonomy, would have the final say.. Seeing as how China is eyeing Greenland's vast mineral resources which caused the US to actually place a US Consulate there, the potential purchase might resurface during Trump's 2nd term..
