Trump meets with the press again while signing another America First EO.

He talks about trade and tariffs and "making deals" where possible.
Has the Trump put additional tariffs on hair dye? Looking more white haired on orange face than normal.
If the USA is/was 100% energy secure what possible reason is there to impose a further 10% on Canadian oil imports. the costs of which are probably at normal international world wide market rates. Is he attempting to bully Canada to sell to the US at less than market prices?
Trump style diplomacy at its best. :-"

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has EVICTED the New York Times, NPR, NBC, and Politico from their Pentagon offices per a DOD order. There will also be a rotation of news services in office space at the Pentagon that will include One America News, Breitbart, the New York Post and Huffpost News.

Is that to ensure that the holy grail of freedom of speech and thought is maintained or just not enough room in the Pentagon?

I am not totally against Trumps policies, some are massively positive. Getting rid of WOKE diversity targets etc are an absolute necessity but the bullying tariffs and targeting of innocent Hispanic peoples is in my view unacceptable.
Perhaps you should publish a list of subjects that you feel its okay for others to discuss in this forum, or maybe just dont read if it upsets you so much.

This thread reads like deja vu all over again.

Inconvenient truths have been ignored for the last 10+ years by the resident multi-ID right wing warrior, including, at one memorable point, declaring his acceptance of Obama as President.

My suggestion is to post the truth and facts, and stand back for the avalanche of bullshhiit which will inevitably follow. 👍

Here we go, the grand master of inueda and nothing substantial jumps in to maintain his posting average.
Why not just say what you mean.
As for truth and facts; when did you start doing that.

"This morning I ordered precision Military air strikes on the Senior ISIS Attack Planner and other terrorists he recruited and led in Somalia. These killers, who we found hiding in caves, threatened the United States and our Allies. The strikes destroyed the caves they live in, and killed many terrorists without, in any way, harming civilians. Our Military has targeted this ISIS Attack Planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did! The message to ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is that “WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!”

You need context? Really? After Hegseth's alleged routing of the lefty mainstream media from the Pentagon?

Only that the "Australian Media mogul" has been a tower of global influence in favour of the "Billionaire property developer's" new hobby.

Another America First Executive Order
Trump has signed an EO requiring that any agency that seeks to create a new regulation must identify at least TEN existing regulations to be eliminated.

From 2020.
Who's Paying for the US Tariffs? A Longer-Term Perspective
Mary Amiti, Stephen J. Redding, and David E. Weinstein
NBER Working Paper No. 26610
January 2020
JEL No. F13,F14,F68
ABSTRACT
Using data from 2018, a number of studies have found that recent U.S tariffs have been passed on
entirely to U.S. importers and consumers.
These results are surprising given that trade theory has
long stressed that tariffs applied by a large country should drive down foreign prices. Using
another year of data including significant escalations in the trade war, we find that U.S. tariffs
continue to be almost entirely borne by U.S. firms and consumers. We show that the response of
import values to the tariffs increases in absolute magnitude over time, consistent with the idea
that it takes time for firms to reorganize supply chains. We find heterogeneity in the responses of
some sectors, such as steel, where tariffs have caused foreign exporters to drop their prices
substantially, enabling them to export relatively more than in sectors where tariff passthrough
was complete..........

The man is unstable
Trump says Canadians prefer the American healthcare system.
“They’d have much better health coverage. I think the people of Canada would like it.”
https://www.msn.com/en-ca/money/topstor ... bfd9&ei=23

The US total health care spending sits in stark comparison to the CDN$344 billion spent by the Canadian government. To appreciate the difference, each Canadian pays CDN$8,740 (USD$6,026) per year. Compare this to the average annual cost for an American of CDN$21,131 (USD$14,570).
