The real reason that Trump wants other Nations to protect the USA borders.
He's sending his army to occupy Gaza, expel Hamas, offer low paid jobs to Palestinians while they construct his new Las Vegas on the Med and their new getto's in Jordan and Egypt.
He was dropping hints about this weeks ago saying that Gaza was prime development property on the sea etc. No one really took him seriously but today he has announced to the world his lunatic idea. Standby for more thousands of America's young being killed and maimed because of crazy political decisions.

Those are Biden's numbers. Biden's entire term was spent with borders wide open from Day 1 of 2021 with his EOs. Gates along the wall were welded open, and border agents spent their time every day providing food, water and health services for illegal aliens pouring across the border.

During the Biden administration, there was a serious decline in military recruiting. Leftist publications even referred to it as a "Military Recruiting Crisis." Americans were unwilling to serve under Biden.

Since the November 2024 election, the military branches are reporting a surge in enlistments. In December 2024, the numbers were the best in 12 years. In January 2025, the US Army hit its best recruiting numbers in 15 years.

. . . and then fails to consider that the US Military has scaled down in manpower over the past many decades due to massively improved military technology.

In fact, according to Army data, recruiting numbers have been increasing steadily over the past year, with the highest total in August 2024 — before the November election. Army officials closely track recruiting numbers.

Instead, a significant driver of the recruiting success was the Army’s decision to launch the Future Soldier Prep Course, at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, in August 2022. That program gives lower-performing recruits up to 90 days of academic or fitness instruction to help them meet military standards and move on to basic training.

In the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, 2024, the Army met its recruiting goal of 55,000 and began to rebuild its delayed entry pool. About 24 percent of those recruits came out of the prep course. Wormuth said she expects it will contribute about 30 percent of this year’s recruits.
