. . .

So creating a funny little cartoon with Trump dressed as Hitler or a Klan member is just a small part of this racist drumbeat; but Trump's actions don't reflect those cartoons. He's not taking guns away as Hitler did. He's not lynching Black Americans as the Klan did. He's not seeking the extermination of an entire race. He's not professing White Supremacy.

It's the new BIG LIE from the Left. They can't beat Trump on policy because he has been tremendously successful. So they lie about him. They try to link every bad event that happens anywhere in the world to him. That tells me that he's doing good things that threaten the power of Leftists.
Right on cue.

Just as I've laid out my view on this topic of Leftist lies and propaganda, a Leftist appears with a cartoon comment to prove my point. The craven, irrational GET TRUMP bloodlust defies logic and truth.

.

There is a place for "monarchy" in the Spectrum of Government Types.

"Monarchy" is a form of government that is totalitarian -- far left -- total government control. Many are considered to be akin to dictatorships, which are also usually controlled by a single person. In the case of a monarchy, it is usually based on heredity. Monarchies are not based on the rule of law, usually only promote an economy best for the monarch and cronies, and most often do NOT nurture individual liberty. All of those issues are based upon the whims of the monarch. Some monarchs rule well and try to be fair, but the fact remains that monarchies are totalitarian; and the society only functions with the blessing of the monarch.

To bash the American Colonists for seeking Liberty and fair treatment from the English monarchy -- and to break away -- is no different than bashing Russians for wanting to be free of Communism in the USSR -- or Jews and Poles and Austrians and other Europeans for seeking freedom from German Nazism.

“We are going into a highly consequential election. The Democrats have truly lost their mind. If you watched those debates last week, they want to take away your health insurance, they want to abolish the death penalty, they want to decriminalize crossing our border illegally, they don’t want to deport anyone other than serious violent felons and they want to use your taxpayer dollars to provide them all health care.

“This is truly a debate and an election about whether America will be a socialist nation. I don’t think Americans want to be a socialist nation. But it will be incumbent upon all Americans to get out and make their voice heard in this election.”

What are you saying here? The UK is ruled by a far left government with total government control? There have been complaints about the Johnson cabinet being full of hardliner Tories. I haven't heard reports that the totalitarian Queen Elizabeth is going to stop the Tories.

There are all sorts of monarchies out there. Many of the countries that score best in the world democratic rankings have monarchs. Removing the monarch can be problematic. It can be nice in theory but getting consensus on the change and replacing the monarch with some other structure has risks. The new system might be worse. I'd hate to see retired sports stars or celebrities voted in as the head of state in my country.

I'm surprised that a business owner would spread stories on a public forum. If I were a homosexual and picked up a ladyboy at his bar, I would never think the owner would run his mouth on a public forum. Just shows that you can't trust this guy.

That's the point.

Regardless of anyone's sexual preference, no one expects a merchant to rat them out on a public forum even if true, much less go out of their way to LIE about them -- which is the case where I am concerned.

Another aspect of this is that a few days after I returned to that merchant's bar, he asked what happened to his employee. I asked why, and I told him that I had only dropped them off at home. He said the employee never returned to work. That was the end of that. Never heard another word about it. And then all of this slander appears here. When did all of this happen? I'd guess about 6 years ago or more.

I'm confused here Lone Star, not that it's any of my business, but did you just unknowingly confess to being homosexual.

Confusion is your normal state.

You're correct. It's none of your business.

I did not confess to anything -- knowingly or unknowingly.

I am not gay, but I know that won't stop you from insinuating it in any way you can and continuing to ride the horse called 'slander' that someone else saddled up for you. You are always about personal attacks in my regard. It's what you do.

Time for Trump to back track on Trade....Dow futures down 300 pts.

The additional 10% tariffs, which primarily targets consumer-related products such as toys, laptops and mobile phones, “actually hurts the U.S. consumers more than China

Trump is a world champion socialist too and he's the boss right now. He's perhaps running the largest budget deficit in human history. And why? There's no good reason; he's simply a bloody leftie although I acknowledge he dog whistles to the right.

Supporters on this Forum like Giggle and semperfiguy don't even understand their own constitution. They support a distorted view of the second amendment as a right to bear arms, whereas the second amendment DOES NOT bestow any such right.

The wording is very specific “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Gun owner overwhelmingly are not members of any 'well organised' militia. These murderous idiots in El Paso and Dayton were not members of any 'well organised' militia. They should never have had guns. The NRA has distorted the Second Amendment and gutless politicians lack the intestinal fortitude to make a moral stance and end this gun insanity.
They support the same view as the SCOTUS.

All of this has been before the courts before, and it was tossed out. The SCOTUS has ruled time and again. At the time that the 2nd Amendment was adopted and ratified, the militia was comprised of citizen farmers. Everyday guys. Originalist judges interpret it the same way today.

The NRA has nothing to do with the interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. The NRA is made up of thousands of private citizens who help to preserve the 2nd Amendment. They work to support the protection of their rights under the Constitution.

There's a process to amend the Constitution. Americans want to keep their guns.

All double talk
If the NRA is there to preserve the 2nd amendment then they must first interpret it to understand it
