You are too preoccupied with a term that is not illegal, not unethical and relative. It is a thought crime in the minds of people who use it as a pejorative.
The guy who wants $15 an hour should be considered greedy based on your view of the term. The guy who thinks he is entitled to my assets in the form of more taxes to pay his student loan debt is a thief who votes for someone to take it for him.
A business operating in a free enterprise system wants to make more profit. GO FOR IT. LEGALLY. GET ALL YOU CAN.

US consumers have not been impacted by the tariffs. If it was true, inflation would be higher. Additionally, consumer spending and sentiment would be down.
