the long shadow of misogyny in USA under DJT

Post by trekkertony » November 20, 2024, 1:26 pm

Who would have thought that the incoming President Elect, an apparent misogynyst of the highest order would appoint so many talented females to Cabinet, white house staff and Ambassador to the UN.

yeah, that Nazi fascist who will end democracy day 1.. Who'd a thunk Biden would give Hitler's personifcation on Earth such a warm welcome in the Oval Office.. All the crap, all the insults, all the generalized painting of a vote for Trump making a person part and parcel to overthrowing democracy, all political hyperbole...?

With a few notable exceptions, it doesn't appear that "talent" was high on the list of qualifications for those appointed or nominated by Trump thusfar - female or otherwise.

Given that he has not got to the White House yet, let's see what happens on day 1, and whether he sticks to his own, many times stated intentions.

Did the fact that Trump and the Republicans won the election mean that it was run fairly - despite all the claims to the contrary that preceded it, by both Trump and the GOP? ;)

Or just hyperbole.

It was a fair and free election like ALL previous US elections.

Anything else is just sour grapes.

That and an absolutely sh*t campaign.

Who would have thought we'd get another Trump thread in the GENERAL UDON THANI forum?

Yeah great isnt it Jammy !! , the hatred for DT is certainly taking up a lot of head space even here on UM with some seemingly getting all giddy and they arent even Americans ... FACT is the American people have spoken it was their choice so let Trump have a crack at MAGA and with the senate and HoR all in pocket he may well fair better this time around.

Will we ever see an Umap without a Trump thread ...my grand kids might.

Thats a brilliant statement, identifying what is actually important in life rather than having palpitations about something we have absolutely no influence on. Well done DM. =D> =D> =D>
