General Discussion of UK Politics
Re: General Discussion of UK Politics
The Rwandan policy was always a pipe dream, the only other country which attempted this was Australia, and that also failed to relocate more than a handful of migrants (at great cost, just like the UK scheme, which has cost over 100 million GBP so far and failed to relocate one person).
The appointment of David Cameron tells us all one thing - the Tory party has ran out of political talent suitable for ministerial posts. Including for Prime minister.

Re: General Discussion of UK Politics
UK Politicians across the whole political party spectrum can be summed up in a single word .. ABSOLUTE SOFT COCK DODGY LYING SCUMBAGS OUT TO LINE THEIR OWN POCKETS .. they make the laws n break them , they promise everything yet deliver nothing..... sadly there isnt a way out of this clusterfook as they are all the same ... one slim chance is if Nigel Farage gets to be PM.

Nigel is part of a widespread cohort that exist to promote negativity. Their existence is characterized about be anti this anti that, populists that appeal to reactionary souls. They never offer alternatives, but are excellent whingers
Best being part of this forum by placing the intellectual challenged on foes list. A lot less post to read and a great time saver.

And further illustrates that Michael Gove is a proper 'Jonny no-mates' with absolutely no chance of ever getting a peerage. The silly bugger should have done with the Tories and cross the floor.rick wrote: ↑November 16, 2023, 12:43 pmThe Rwandan policy was always a pipe dream, the only other country which attempted this was Australia, and that also failed to relocate more than a handful of migrants (at great cost, just like the UK scheme, which has cost over 100 million GBP so far and failed to relocate one person).

Re: General Discussion of UK Politics
Farage is a prime example of political splitters and dodgers. When he got the electorates attention with UKIP, he bottled on taking their successes further. Did the same again with the Brexit Party and Reform. Total political featherweight.

Nothing like a serial bottler to lead the Tories into the wilderness.

Farmers going on strike, so nobody's going to be milking any coos and tractors will be jamming up the inner city streets.
Oh yes, and going to snow. Hard.
Now is the winter of our discontent.
